Description
Kinetics of skin cancer relapses after radiotherapy is studied. Data on the examination of 8207 patients treated with the radiotherapeutic method and retraced from 1 to 10 years including 678 patients with relapses present material for investigation. Close-distance roentgenotherapy has been carried out in 81% of patients, applicational therapy with radium - in 17%, associated roentgenotherapy and gamma-therapy - in 0.5%. The data analysis shows that there is a linear correlation between the initial number of relapses for 3, 2, and 1 year and their number for the subsequent period up to 10 years. The number of relapses for 1,2 and 3 years of retracing permits to forecast with reliability of 95% the total number of relapses for 3-5 and 10 years with an error of 2.6-1.5% respectively
