Description
This study was carried out to evaluate different uses of Polystar, a fully digital imaging system for multidirectional transillumination procedures on a tilting table. It was to verify previous claims that the system may serve as a replacement for or adjunct to special instruments for fluoroscopy, interventions and angiography and thus lead to a considerable increase in the overall efficiency of the facilities of an X-ray department. Abstract (German)
Gegenstand dieser Arbeit ist die Ueberpruefung der Einsatzmoeglichkeiten des Polystar, eines voll digitalen bildgebenden Systems mit multidirektionaler Durchleuchtungsmoeglichkeit an einem Kipptisch. Es galt die Hypothese zu pruefen, ob ein solches System Spezialgeraete fuer die Durchleuchtung, interventionelle Eingriffe und Angiographie ersetzen oder ergaenzen kann. Dies wuerde die Effizienz in der Ausnutzung der Ressourcen einer Roentgenabteilung wesentlich steigern. (orig.)Additional details
