Laser plasma experiments relevant to laser produced implosions
Description
Preliminary laser target interaction studies designed to provide code normalization data in a regime of interest to laser fusion are reported. The laser facilities constructed for such studies, the target diagnostic systems, and preliminary experimental results are described. (U.S.)
