INFLUENCE OF LITHIUM AND BORON DOPING ON THE SUPERCONDUCTING TRANSITION IN Bi-2223 SUPERCONDUCTING CERAMICS

Description

The influence of lithium and boron doping on the superconducting transition was investigated in Bi-based high-Tc 2223 ceramics. It was found that the Bi-2223 samples doped with Li and B transform into the low-Tc Bi-2212 phase. In the Li-doped Bi-2223 samples, a nonmonotonous change in the critical temperature takes place, while the boron doping leads to the gradual decrease in Tc with the increasing dopant content.
