Multifunctional facility for investigation of radiation initiated gas release from biological shield materials
Description
A universal multifunctional facility to study the kinetics of radiation gas release process from various reactor materials is developed and tested. The facility consists of in-core capsule, in which irradiated samples are placed. In the capsule either vacuum is maintained, or helium gas-carrier is pumped through it, which carries out radiolysis products from the capsule. The measurement system of the facility is realized on the basis of time-of-flight mass-spectrometer
