Modification of construction and measuring materials at irradiation with pulsed plasma fluxes

Description
Influence of pulsed flux irradiation of hydrogen-nitrogen, nitrogen, H-helium and N-He plasma on different material structure and properties was studied. Samples of 40 Kh, 12KhN3A, ShKh15, KhVG, steel 45, metal-ceramic alloys VK8, VK20 were investigated. It was shown that a quasi-amorphous layer of some tens mcm thickness appears on the surface of samples at interaction with plasma and this leads to the increase of their microhardness and wear resistance
