Age of the Upper Pleistocene marine deposits of the Arkhangelsk region on the basis of ESR-dating of subfossil mollusc shells
Description
The potential usage of a new, electron spin resonance (ESR) dating of subfossil shells is discussed on an example of the northern part of the East-European Plain. A variant of ESR technique based on measuring concentration of radiation-induced crystal defects is described and the Mikulino age of the Boreal transgression is proved
