Description

A procedure based on the measurement of thermal balance from the parameters of the primary and secondary circuit is used to determine the thermal output of reactors in nuclear power plants with WWER-440 reactors of the V-213 type. The method is described of measurement and evaluation of results obtained in the power start-up of two units of the V-2 nuclear power plant in Jaslovske Bohunice. The results of these measurements serve the adjustment of the SUGAN instruments for in-core measurement of neutron flux and also for the detection of faulty sensors of thermal parameters in the primary and secondary circuit. The value of thermal output differed with regard to accuracy, reliability and time stability of these standard measurements in the individual steps within the range of 1 to 5% rated power. Verification non-standard measurement must be therefore performed for determining the actual output of the reactor. (Z.M.). 1 tab., 5 refs
