Description

Neutron radiography utilizing 252Cf as the neutron source is described in relation to accelerator and nuclear reactor sources. A consideration of the basic components of a neutron radiographic camera indicates two source configurations. The first type, a shielding container and camera with an internal moveable source, is typified by the present facility. The second type, a transportable modular system, is indicated with specifications as a practical justification of using 252Cf for neutron radiography
