The use of ISE for checking the washing procedure prior to the INAA of calcium in hair

Description
An ion selective electrode was employed to check a possible calcium release from human hair when washing samples prior to their neutron activation. Preliminary measurements in TRIS buffer (pH 7.4) demonstrated the portion Ca release as 3.3% out of the total Ca content. (author) 6 refs
