A new method of getting binary solid solutions

Description
Full text: It has been worked out a new method of growing single crystals of binary solid solutions using feeding alloys.First the feeding alloy is prepared in a form of cylinder, then it is recrystallized by zone melting.The received alloy is used a feeding rod in two versions: 1)if the distribution coefficient of the second component is k<1 the feeding is started from the beginning of the prepared alloy, 2) if k>1 the feeding is started from the end of the prepared alloy.
