Description
The project on cosmic radiation and exposures to airline personnel described in this paper consists of an epidemiological study project. The investigated cohort consists of all pilots licensed in Norway since 1946. Data is also available on a cohort made up of all cabin crew licensed since 1950, but the results for this cohort will be reported elsewhere. The health effects for which data are reported are cancer incidences. (orig.)
