Photon sources for X-ray fluorescence analysis with 57Co and 109Cd cyclotron radionuclides

Description

Description of structures is presented and basic nuclear-physical characteristics of point, disc and ring sources of radiation with cyclotron 57Co and 109Cd radionuclides are given. Application of capsules of A000 type aluminium sources and the source sealing by cold pressure welding method are common for all types of sources developed. According to the All-Union State Standard 25936-83 (CMEA standard 3839-82) sources of IRIK-AT, IRIK-AD, IRIK-AK, KIG-AT, KIG-ADM, KIG-AK type have C43131 specification and KIG-AD type sources have C43232 specification
