Description

The inertial coefficient for pre-scission phase of cold fission processes discussed when different shape parametrization are used to calculate barrier penetrability in an effective liquid drop model. It is explicitly shown the relevance of an appropriated choice of the inertial coefficient to unify the alpha decay, cluster radioactivity and spontaneous cold fission processes in the same theoretical description.
