Description
Had carried out a review about qualification and standard competencies the maintenance officer for non-reactor nuclear installations. This review is needed as a part of consideration material to improve and complete the regulation about maintenance for INNR therefore this regulation will provide guidelines for certification the officer of installation and nuclear material. Lack of infrastructure maintenance officer (including competence and training facilities) has potential to damage of nuclear facility, particularly INNR. Conditions such limitations should be avoided because it will cause harm and be a threat to officer and society. This happens because a maintenance officer for INNR do not yet have a standardized competency. Based on BAPETEN Chairman Regulation No. 9 Year 2015 on terms of maintenance for INNR, which aims to provide the safety requirements to be met by the License Holder in drafting, setting and implementation maintenance program and to ensure the operating safely. The competence requirement for maintenance officer such has stated in it, officers have work permit as supervisor or operator of INNR and have pass the training. In determining this competency is not through qualification testing. Lack of regulation has not included basic competence and training material that must be have for maintenance officer. While, on the BAPETEN Chairman Regulation No. 6 Year 2013 on work permit for installation and nuclear material officers, has not setting about terms of competence the maintenance officer for INNR. Therefore in this paper formulated, the training material for it consists of 12 materials include regulation about maintenance of INNR; safety and radiation protection; etc. While, The formulation of basic competencies for the maintenance officer include five basic theory consist of 21 key performance indicator (KPI) and 9 main topic with 34 key performance indicator (IKK). The duration of training is at least 82 hours. (author)
