Separating and converting. European transmutation research: Reducing the decay time of radioactive waste
Description
In Germany 4160 tons of nuclear waste are stored in interim disposals - for 40 years. European Scientists bank on conversion of nuclear materials by transmutation. They hope to reduce decisive the decay time in the radwaste repository. (GL)
