Description
The synthesis of specifically labeled 2,5,8-trimethyl-3,4-dihydro-1(2H)- naphthalenone-2-d and 3,5,8-trimethyl-3,4-dihydro-1(2H)-naphthalenone-2,2-d2 through α-proton exchange using neat trifluoroacetic acid-d is described. (author)
