Application of the Moessbauer effect to the study of the glass forming ability of Mg based binary alloys

Description
It has been established that Sn addition improves the glass forming ability of MgZn, MgCu and MgNi systems. Here, we discuss the way Sn acts in order to favour amorphization. (author)
