Synthesis and transformations of ν5-chloromethylcyclopentadienyl tricarbonylrhenium

Description

Chloromethylation of eta5-cyclopentadienyltricarbonyl-rhenium by chlorodimethyl ester in the presence of AlCl3 is studied. The reaction of substitution of hydroxyl in eta5-hydroxymethylcyclopentadienyl-tricarbonylrhenium for chlorine is realized. Alkylation of eta5-cyclopentadienyltricarbonylrhenium by eta5-chloromethylcyclopentadienyl-tricarbonylrhenium under conditions of the Friedel-Crafts reaction is carried out. Hydrolysis of eta5-chloromethylcyclopentadie-- nyl-tricarbonylrhenium is studied
