Unified physical picture of hadron-hadron and e+e- collisions

Description

This report consists of a summary of some published work on multiparticle production in hadron-hadron and e+e- collisions. Essential physical ideas in the geometrical model of multiparticles poduction in hadron-hadron collisions are reviewed, which lead to a simple description of the single-particle spectrum. These ideas are then applied to two-jet events in e+e- annihilations. A unified physical picture for both collisions emerges which is compared with experimental data. A number of predictions are made including the prediction that KNO scaling does not obtain for e+e- two-jet events
