Nonuniformity in properties of polycrystals with axial texture

Description
Formulas have been obtained for calculating the average values and the dispersions of the elastic properties, the coefficients of linear expansion and the resistivity of polycrystals with axial texture. Investigated was the influence of the scattering angle of the orientations of grains and the type of their crystalline lattice upon the properties of the polycrystals. The starting data for the calculations are the properties of corresponding single crystals. Numerical results are presented for Zr, Mg and Zn
