Radiation tolerant electronics in high energy physics
Description
Colliders being developed for high energy physics experiments require electronics equipment capable of withstanding high levels of irradiation. This paper describes the requirements for radiation-hard electronics and the development of technologies for producing electronics for detectors for the Large Hadron Collider. These technologies are equally appropriate for use in monitoring and decommissioning in radiation environments. (Author)
