On the plasma delay time in semiconductor radiation detectors
Description
Dynamics of the plasma erosion in the track of heavy ionizing particles was calculated for various distributions of the charges generated by particles in the track. The ratio of the plasma delay time coefficients for fission fragments and α-particles was obtained. The calculated ratio is in a good agreement with the experimental data. (author)
