The metric of space-time with two bubbles' collision

Description

It is believed that the first order phase transition occurred in the very early universe. This process has been described as the formation and expansion of bubbles. Thus it is of interest to investigate the physical consequence of bubbles' collision. In fact, in a de Sitter space-time background which is generally accepted to describe the false vacuum metric before the phase transition, any two bubbles must collide. The author discusses the gravitational effects of bubbles' collision in the framework of a Higgs field which is in the fundamental representation of a Yang-Mills group. (Auth.)
