Hall effect on unsteady MHD flow and heat transfer along a porous flat plate with mass transfer and viscous dissipation

  • 1. Department of Mathematics, Padmasri Dr. B.V. Raju Institute of Technology, Narsapur (India)

Description

The Hall Effect on MHD flow and mass transfer of an electrically conducting incompressible fluid along an infinite vertical porous plate with viscous dissipation has been studied. The problem is solved, numerically by Galerkin finite element method for velocity, temperature, concentration field and also the expression for shearing stress is obtained. The effect of Grashof Number, Modified Grashof Number, Transpiration cooling parameter, Prandtl Number, Schmidt Number, Eckert number, Hartmann number and Hall parameter on the flow field are shown through graphs and tables.
