Welding of a container in WWER-1000 reactor core
Description
Studied is the effect of separate alloying elements on mechanical properties of a welded joint of the V-1000 reactor shell. To provide a given level of the weld metal properties it is recommended to use the Sv-10KhGNMAA welding wire with the content of 1.8-2.1% Cr and 1.6-1.9%Ni in combination with the FTs-16 flux. Built up are the nomograms for calculation of expected level of weld metal strength in application to welding of ring welds of reactor shell at temperatures of 20 and 350 deg C
