Measurement of the dependence of the differential cross section of the inclusive reaction π- + A → p + ...with back-flight of proton on the mass number A

The paper presents measurements of spectra of positive particles (protons, deuterons and π+ mesons) on C, Al, Cu, Cd, Pb targets in the range of (162+-2.4) angles under the action of π- mesons with the momentum of (3.1+-0.1) GeV/c. The linear dependence of the differential cross section of the inclusive reaction π- + A → p + ... on the mass number A has been established, when proton ot deuteron escape backward
