Perturbation method software for experimental determination of neutron-physical characteristics of WWER type reactors

Description
An improved variant of the perturbation method is proposed for experimental determination of the control rod worths, the power coefficient and fuel time constant of WWER type reactors. The classical method is extended to take into account spatial effects. The optimization problem is solved linearly, with successive approximations for the search of a global minimum and a variable step for the fuel time constant. The accuracy is improved and the computation time is substantially reduced, compared to other methods. The algorithms are well suited for use on microcomputers and automation of data processing
