Shock waves in condensed matter-1981
Creators
Description
The conference provided a format for scientific interactions on questions of physico-chemical properties and processes of condensed matter under shock compression. Typical conditions include pressures ranging from a few gigapascal to a few hundred gigapascals with accompanying temperature increases from a few degrees to a few tens of thousands of degrees. The shock-wave technique produces unique and extreme states of condensed matter for scientific investigation. Individual items from the conference were prepared separately for the data base
