Process and device for removing deposits on the surface of components of a water cooled nuclear reactor plant
Description
In order to prevent damage to fuel pellets and spacers, it is proposed that the fuel element is sounded simultaneously from opposite sides by ultrasonic vibrators of equal output. The fuel element is placed in a closed container filled with water for this purpose. Ultrasonic vibrators are fixed on at least two opposite outsides of the container, where the opposite ultrasonic vibrators are on a common central axis. (orig./HP)

Zur Vermeidung von Beschaedigungen an Brennstofftabletten und Abstandshaltern wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Brennelement gleichzeitig von gegenueberliegenden Seiten aus mit Ultraschallschwingern gleicher Leistung beschallt wird. Dazu ist das Brennelement in einem geschlossenen, wassergekuehlten Behaelter (Sipping-Behaelter) angeordnet. An wenigstens zwei gegenueberliegenden Aussenseiten des Behaelters sind Ultraschallschwinger befestigt, wobei die jeweils gegenueberliegenden Ultraschallschwinger auf einer gemeinsamen Mittenachse liegen.
