Description
Adverse health effects associated with the overexposure to airborne asbestos fibers are asbestosis, a nonmalignant scarring of lung tissue, mesothelioma, and respiratory cancer. Controls used to prevent excessive exposure to airborne asbestos fibers are discussed and illustrated
