The effect of the heavy element abundance on the evolution of stars. Part 2. The structure of the models

Description

We have evolved stars of mass 2, 3, 5, 7 and 10 Msub(circle) and chemical compositions (X = 0.7, Z = 0.03), (0.7, 0.01), (0.7, 0.003), (0.7, 0.001) and (0.7, 0.0004) past core helium exhaustion (except for the 2 Msub(circle) stars which we have evolved to core helium ignition). These results have been summarized in an earlier paper. Here we present tables of the internal structures of the stars while on the main sequence, at core helium ignition and at the ends of our computed tracks. These results demonstrate further the effect of heavy element abundance on stellar evolution, and should be useful in studying the chemical evolution of galaxies. (author)
