Description

There are three major objectives of this report. Each relates to the development of expert systems which improve the safety and efficiency of nuclear facility operations. The first objective is to identify the major distinct applications of expert systems as they relate to nuclear safety. The second objective is to identify future expert system development trends in order to help anticipate emerging tools which may spark rapid development or identify trends which may hinder its growth.
