New forms of energy dependence: Energy security: a forgotten challenge

For the participants, the three main uncertainties concerning energy security are geopolitical issues (36%), the supply chain (19%) and access to affordable energy (15%). The current Ukrainian crisis has highlighted new uncertainties such as access to energy and instability. At a time of geopolitical uncertainty and instability, the reliability of the grid, electricity and gas are the key words when it comes to energy security, which underpins access to critical raw materials

Abstract (French)

Pour les participants, les trois principales incertitudes concernant la securite energetique sont les questions geopolitiques (36 %), la chaine d'approvisionnement (19 %) et l'acces a une energie abordable (15 %). La crise ukrainienne actuelle a mis en evidence de nouvelles incertitudes telles que l'acces a l'energie et l'instabilite. En periode d'incertitudes et d'instabilite geopolitique, la fiabilite du reseau, de l'electricite et du gaz sont les mots cles concernant la securite energetique, sous-jacente a l'acces aux matieres premieres critiques
