Physico-Chemical and biological research on water from Aries river

Water flow in most river systems has two principal components: surface run-of- of precipitation and groundwater. Their contributions differ in each systems and depend on the physical setting of the drainage basin as well as on climatic parameters. Most groundwater bodies are isotopically constant and closely reflect the average annual isotopic composition of local precipitation. (Author)
