Description

Highlights: • ZP NPs were synthesized in-situ by chemical oxidative polymerization of aniline. • TEM measurements showed the presence of nanometer thick PANI layer on ZrO2 NPs. • EPR confirmed conductive PANI form in the nanocomposites and defects in ZrO2 NPs. • All nanocomposites have improved absorption of the Solar light and can be used for degradation of TCP. • Nanocomposite ZP50 with highest content of PANI has the best photocatalytic activity.
