Vacuum polarization by invariant sources
Description
Vacuum polarization by invariant sources generating the vacuum expectation of classical action S has been studying. The variational method is used for finding out matrix elements. The method essence consists in constructing the effective potential dependent on the matrix elements. The variational problem is formulated and a set of equations determining GITA(PHI, S) is written out. Perturbation theory for GITA is constructed. The problems concerning the renormalization of GITA are discussed
