The fate of a charm quark pair moving through a plasma

Description
We present a simple quark-gluon plasma motivated model of J/ψ suppression in ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions, which gives good agreement with the recent CERN NA38 data of 200 GeV/A heavy-ion collisions. We also briefly discuss the modification of static Debye screening in a relativistic abelian plasma. (orig.)
