Influence of the temperature regime of synthesis on physico-chemical parameters of As2Se3

Experimental results for optical parameters of As2Se3 glasses, obtained at different modes, are analyzed. Dependences found can be explained as a result of structural changes. A method of quantitative evaluation of structural variations from ideal ordered structure, based on the analysis of specific structural details, is developed. Possible ways of disordering the structure including separation of particular phases with different chemical composition are discussed. It is shown that, when a spare space increases, it makes an effect on the density and is consistent with changes of the index of refraction. Analysis of (dn/dT) shows that changes in the glass density significantly affect the n(T) dependence, though it is not greater than the contribution of changes in electron polarization
