Description
An electroweak model based on the gauge group SU(2)LxU(1)LxU(1)R is presented in which neutrinos are massless at the tree level due to a discrete symmetry and acquire tiny finite masses at the one-loop level due to the exchange of two charged Higgs singlets (generalized Zee mechanism) each carrying two units of lepton number. The anomalies are canceled by adding vectorlike singlet fermions. These fermions are also responsible for giving masses to the conventional charged quarks and leptons by the seesaw mechanism
