NR-21R facility for neutron radiography

Description

The basic circuit and description of the model of the NR-21R installation designed for neutron radiography of extended radioactive products, chiefly fuel elements, are presented. Slow neutron beam from a pool type reactor is used in the installation. The installation operates in an automatic control mode and permits to obtain neutronograms both by the transfer method and the direct exposure method. Maximum size of the site that can be tested during one exposure is 150x1200 mm
