Technique for the radiation dose prediction and estimation of additional personnel for the Chernobyl' NPP

Description

Technique for the assessment and prediction of radiation doses to personnel of the Chernobyl'-3 reactor for the period after its start-up was presented well as estimation of the additional personnel number. Predictions of the radiation doses and additional personnel number for main shops and occupational groups were made in 1987 on the bases of the above technique. These estimations permitted to reveal the most important sections for decontamination at the Chernobyl'-3 reactor, exposure dose rate levels necessary to provide, and to assess the quality of activities in environmental radioactivity decreasing. figs. 3
