Description
The formation of defect clusters in molybdenum bombarded by protons, alpha-particles, Ne ions with energies 17, 39, 98 MeV, respectively, as well as fission fragments, has been studied by electron microscopy. The same radiation damage structure consisting of vacancy and interstitial clusters forms in all the irradiations. Observed vacancy clusters were interpreted as subcascade areas, and discussed in terms of energy dependence of displacement cascade stability
