Angular distribution of IMB and Kamiokande neutrino Events

Creators

Description

The angular distribution of the observed underground interactions from SN1987A are studied. The angular distribution is the primary bias free way of measuring the neutrino and antineutrino content of the burst. The distributions do not fit the simplest models which have only charged current interactions of electron antineutrinos on free protons. Similarities and differences between the two experiments are noted
