Description

The (n,e+) correlation function, measured in the weak decay of a state excited in a (p,n) reaction, has been found sensitive to relativistic effects. The correlation function now joins the (ρ,γ) correlation function, and the spin difference function, as a sensitive probe of relativistic effects. We treat the 12C(p,n)12N reaction as an example.
