Description
We study chiral symmetry breaking for QED[3] with N fermion flavours, just above the critical threshold. By analysis of a consistently truncated Schwinger-Dyson system for the fermion propagator and the fermion-boson vertex, we argue that the critical coupling must be strictly positive.
