Description
A calculation is given of the particle coagulation kernel in the presence of both Brownian and gravitational coagulation. Taking the efficiency for the latter process as unity, it is found that the kernel obtained exceeds the sum of the kernels for each process separately, the maximum difference being about 27#percent#. Deviation from the root mean square approximation can amount to about 78#percent#. (author)
