Transient field effects in the superconducting coils of the T-15 tokamak during disruptions of the plasma current
- 1. Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics, and Automation, Moscow
Description
Current transients in the superconducting coils of the T-15 tokamak caused by disruptions of the plasma current are calculated. The stability of the wire current is shown to depend on the relative directions of the transport current, the transposition, and the longitudinal pulsed magnetic field. The calculated results agree closely with experimental data
