Measurement of the J/PSI radiative decay into f0(1270)γ

Description

The J/PSI decay modes f0(1270)γ and pπ have been studied in e+e- collisions at 3.1 GeV center of mass energy leading to the π+π-γ and π+π-π0 final states. The f0γ decay branching ratio is measured to be (0.20 +- 0.07) x 10-2, a value comparable to the J/PSI radiative decay rates into the eta%GA and eta'γ channels. The J/PSI decay branching ratio into pπ is measured to be (1.6 +- 0.4) x 10-2. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Bei e+e--Kollisionen mit 3.1 GeV Schwerpunktsystemenergie wurden die Zerfallsarten f0(1270)γ und pπ von J/PSI, welche zu den π+π-γ und π+π-π0 Endzustaenden fuehren, untersucht. Das Verzweigungsverhaeltnis von f0γ wird zu (0.20 +- 0.07) x 10-2 gemessen, ein Wert, der mit den J/PSI Strahlungszerfallsraten in die eta%GA und eta'γ-Kanaele vergleichbar ist. Fuer das Verzweigungsverhaeltnis des J/PSI-Zerfalls zu pπ wird ein Wert von (1.6 +- 0.4) x 10-2 gemessen. (orig.)
