Determination of fast-neutron flux densities and dose-rates by threshold detectors

Creators

  • 1. International Atomic Energy Agency, Vienna (Austria)

Description

The neutron flux densities between 0.1 and 10 MeV have been determined by a three-group method using four threshold detectors in irradiation facilities of a light-water moderated reactor. With the values obtained the dose-rates for CH-material have been calculated. The technique described can be used in a SNIF, and will provide sufficient information for most of the seed irradiation experiments. (author). 20 refs, 1 fig., 4 tabs
